Rich tribute paid to Chairman Late S. Jaspal Singh ji.
A Special Prayer Service was held in the Sardar Mehtab Singh Assembly Hall at GNFCS Shangri-La on 10th June 2017 at 10:30 AM. The prayer service was attended by distinguished guests , members of GNFC School Society, Local members of Gurudwara Singh Sabha, Landour and Library point and the entire Staff and students of Guru Nanak Fifth Centenary School , Mussoorie . All had gathered on this solemn occasion to pay homage to Sardar Jaspal Singh ji who had played an iconic role in the field of education in the region.

The Principal Staff and Students offered rich tributes to the departed soul. The Dean Mrs. N.D. Sawhaney shared glimpses of the inspiring life and outstanding achievements of Sardar Jaspal Singh ji who was a great visionary and luminary.
Floral tributes were offered to the beloved Chairman admist the soulful rendition of shabads sung by the school choir.
The students expressed their gratitude to the chairmanand took a pledge to emulate his values and become socially responsible global citizens rooted in Indian culture.

After the Sehaj Path, there was kirtan conducted by Bhai Randhir Singh ji (Hazoori Ragi Sri Harimandir Sahib – Amritsar).
The Centonians paid a special tribute by praying for the peace and bliss of his soul.
The Ardas and Hukanama were followed by distribution of Karah Parshad and Guru ka Langar.
